Locally Hosting Your Own LLM (AI)

This event, we’ll dive into how you can locally host your own LLM—right on your laptop. We’ll walk step-by-step through setting up an air-gapped, private AI that keeps your data secure and out of the cloud.

From 5:00–6:30 PM, you’ll also get hands-on testing time. Ken will be bringing a collection of devices—phones, tablets, old computers, even a microprocessor—all running local AIs that you can try for yourself. You’ll be surprised at how capable these free, offline models already are.

Alongside the workshop, we’ll also hear from two incredible speakers sharing how they’re using AI in very different worlds:

• Bella Zamborini, ManpowerGroup – bringing an enterprise perspective on AI in the workplace

• Elise Davidson, President of Hamilton DECA – a local high school student already putting AI into practice

And of course, there will be time for networking and free pizza.
